Join us in 2021 for fellowship, inspiration, medical education and networking at our unique annual conference. Share the blessings by bringing a friend or colleague with you! FREE TIME ACTIVITIES
Downtown Grand Rapids is a beautiful city with much to do all within walking distance of the hotel—restaurants, President Ford’s Library, the City Museum, Art Museum and much more. The DASH bus provides free transportation to the downtown market where you can sample gourmet food, purchase olive oils and balsamic vinegars or gourmet spices and teas. Due to last year’s scheduled ArtPrize event being delayed until 2021, there will be lots of stunning art displayed throughout the downtown area that you can enjoy during free time.
Each year, the husbands of WPDC conference participants get together for the Men’s Track. They spend time with other men who understand the uniqueness of being married to a woman physician or dentist. Sessions are held during the scheduled workshops and include discussion, fun and fellowship activities. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more information or sign your spouse up for Men’s Track. Led by Chris Hahn and Andy Austin.
STUDENTS & RESIDENTS
Medical and dental students and residents are welcome to attend any session, but several workshops are particularly focused on meeting the challenges of medical training. Also, students and residents are offered the opportunity to submit academic work in traditional excellent basic science, clinical/outcomes research, quality improvement projects, innovations, missions, and more with the TRI ePoster Session at the WPDC Conference. Registration and information is available at the Poster Session link above.
